Transmare Compounds

Our compounds can be based on prime, near to prime, recycled and regranulated polymers.

Mineral filled

Our fillers:

* Talc 
* Calciumcarbonate
* Bariumsulphate
* Aluminiumtrihydrate
* Magnesiumhydroxide

Mineral filling levels are between 5 and 80%(*) loading. Additives on request

(*): Mineral filling content of more than 40% in general, is used as high concentrated masterbatch and often diluted in a further processing step.

Glass fibre reinforced

Glass fiber content is between 5 and 50% loading. Additives on request. All grades are supplied directly from our own Dutch production site. On request, specialty polymer blends and tailor-made countertypes are produced.

Glass Specialities

Besides the standard grades, Transmare has developed specialties.

Transmare UltraMaxx™ shows a mechanical profile that allows direct competition with glass fiber reinforced Nylon, PA6-GF, while offering a considerable cost and weight reduction.

Transmare UltraHeat™ was developed to perform under harsh temperature conditions as encountered under the hood of cars and trucks.

Impact modified compounds

Our impact modified compounds are based on:

* SBS
* SEBS
* EVA
* M-PE
* EPDM

Elastomer content is generally between 1 and 30% loading. Additives on request. We frequently need to match certain impact properties. Elastomer content is increased until the impact value is met.
